I am Eddie Halaba, age 27 a citizen of Papua New Guinea from Milne Bay Province.  I come from the district of Alotau, .  I am fourth born in the family of five.  I last attended Cameron Secondary School from 2001 to 2002 and in 2008 I was accepted at the University of Goroka. This year (2009) I am doing my second year.  I am studying Creative Industry, major in Music.  Instruments I play are drums, guitar, keyboard and others.  I am very happy to attend this ‘Yumi Piska’ workshop because it gives me the opportunity to learn about the video production which other institutions in the country do not have an opportunity to learn.  I dream that after the workshop, when opportunity allows, I will use the knowledge and skills to capture the culture and environment of the people in the remote islands of Milne Bay.  Also, I want to use the video production together with my music in the near future.  My hobbies are bush tracking, swimming, fishing and playing music.
